We’ll get to the menu in a minute but first: Happy Birthday America! This week, in addition to looking forward to the holiday, we’re counting down the days until Auntie (my younger sister) comes to visit. She’ll be here the 5th through the 8th and I couldn’t be more excited. The last time we lived together she was in 7th grade (my senior year) but these days it’s not unusual for us to be mistaken for twins.
In other exciting news I had some great finds at GoodWill this week, highlighted on instagram.
But now, the food. It’s nice to eat you again, carbs!
Sunday: Cookout at a friend’s, we’re bringing watermelon
Monday: Chicken Quesadillas with guacamole
Tuesday: Kielbasa, Mac and Cheese, and Green Beans (hosting friends from church)
Wednesday: Burgers, Pasta Salad and Corn on the Cob (my first of the season thanks to Whole 30)
Thursday: Hot dogs, Potato Salad, Grilled Veggies
Friday: Homemade Pizza, Salad
Saturday: Chicken Fried Rice
