Have you ever experienced a time when all feels right with the world? Last night we hosted two families for dinner. The backyard was full of happy children. Buddy is navigating well enough that he could get up and down the step from the house to the patio, and he kept up with the big kids well enough to stay content. I was in my happy place and I’m looking forward to practicing hospitality more regularly.
This week we have three swim lessons (Mon, Tues, Thurs) plus church programming on Wednesday. It’s going to be hectic and then next week we get to repeat the craziness. Here’s my easy meal plan to help see us through the crazy.
Sunday: Kielbasa and Noodles
Monday: Leftover Chicken and Pasta Salad (from Saturday night)
Tuesday: Crockpot Lemon Garlic Chicken and rice
Wednesday:Spaghetti and steamed veggies (we ended up skipping this meal last week to eat leftovers)
Thursday: Mini Quiche (from Costco) and veggies
Friday: Homemade Pizza and Salad
Saturday: Burgers, Fries and Veggies
